There comes a time in every homeowner’s life to re-evaluate your property’s existing windows and doors. Thankfully, those who reside in Greater Manchester and Cheshire can always rely on the Reddish Joinery team for help and advice, just like locals Mr and Mrs Short recently did. Calling upon us to replace their outdated white uPVC frames, we of course were more than happy to fulfil their wish for a new houseful of smartly Grey windows and doors.
Once arriving at Mr and Mrs Short’s local home, the Reddish team got to work carefully removing the property’s current set of uPVC white windows, which weren’t meeting the style or comfort needs expected in 2018. The replacement frames we provided were coloured in a subtle but smart Anthracite Grey finish which served to complement the household’s natural brickwork. Each window made incorporated low ‘E’ argon filled units with a centre pane U value of 1.1, meaning that the Short family home would be kept warm as well as good-looking.
In keeping with this sentiment were the new composite doors we took the liberty of installing in the front and back of the property. This design was chosen as it’s a multi-layered solution that would work better to prevent heat from escaping, especially when compared to the uPVC entrance original. Again, both were coloured to an Anthracite Grey.
Mr and Mrs Short knew they could trsut us with their new window and doors replacements, having already experienced our work first-hand with an earlier conservatory installation. Engineered in durable and attractive uPVC with a smooth-sliding set of Grey bifold doors, the home now finally boasts a smart aesthetic performance that will last multiple decades – and all while keeping the Short family comfortable.
Following our installation work in Mr and Mrs Short’s residential home, they got in touch with us via email. Here’s what they had to say:
“Could I take this opportunity to thank you and the whole Reddish Joinery team. You have done a fabulous job of replacing our old windows and doors, the house is totally transformed and I am delighted with how it looks. The fitters did a great job and looked after our property, leaving it clean and tidy every evening. Every step from the guidance of what would suit best to measuring and fitting was handled with great support and professionalism.”
“You provided an excellent service, specific to suit our requirements, I would not hesitate in recommending Reddish Joinery in the future.”
