Bungalow Orangery in Woodley, Stockport

Here at Reddish Joinery, creating bespoke home improvement solutions is our speciality. So, when a customer got in touch with us asking us to manufacture and install a bespoke uPVC orangery to their newly purchased bungalow, we were delighted to help. So, we set off to their home in Woodley, Stockport and got to work straight away!

In search of a living/dining room orangery for their bungalow

Our Woodley customer was looking to create a living/dining room for their home, so they got in touch with us to see if we could turn their dream into a reality. After consulting with Tony, a member of our sales team, who ‘got the vision’ of our customers, it was decided that a 3m x 7m would give them the additional space they needed to dine and relax in at their own leisure.

Spacious living and a sense of grandeur thanks to a lavish lantern roof

In order to ensure for a light, bright and spacious living space, we fitted a beautiful aluminium clad Accoya Timber lantern roof to sit at the top of the uPVC orangery. With its minimal framework and contemporary design, the structure now has a stylish focal point that adds to the overall sense of grandeur.

French doors and quality double glazing for warmth and style

On the side where the orangery meets their garden, we also fitted a selection of large windows along with a set of timeless French doors. So, now our customer can enjoy ample views of their garden space. Plus, when they want to step out into the garden, they’re able to do so easily and in style.

As the windows and French doors were sandwiched between layers of insulated brickwork and both came fitted with double glazing of the highest quality, this orangery is in no danger of finding the cold anytime soon. So, now our client can dine and relax in a comfortable temperature all year long!

Interior lighting for that perfect relaxed ambience

Recessed spotlights were fitted to the interior pelmet ceiling that sits around the perimeter of the lavish lantern roof, adding to the homely feel of our customer’s new glazed extension and ensuring they’re able to create the perfect mood for relaxing in.

We even fitted some pendant lights to hang above their dining room table. So, when our customer wants to create the perfect ambience to enjoy their evening meals, they can!

The whole project from the foundations to final fix electrics was dealt with by us here at Reddish Joinery, so the customer had one point of contact throughout the whole project.
