Earlier this year, the Reddish team were more than happy to help breathe new life into one returning Chorlton homeowner’s existing extension. Mrs R, who had previously experienced the high quality customer service our installers are able to provide first hand, instantly knew that we had both the tools and ability for the job. After talking through all of the viable options – a replacement conservatory roof was the clearest choice!
A replacement roof was the perfect choice not solely because of its versatile ability to be formed in any shape or roof style, but also due to its increased thermal efficiency to always ensure Mrs R stays warm. This enhancement in heat retention means that the extension can be utilised all year round rather than just in the spring or summer – a worthwhile investment indeed.
Our team of installers and joiners worked effortlessly to ensure that the final result merged seamlessly with the existing aesthetic style of Mrs R’s main property, opting for a neutral “off-black” tone that that would always look distinct come rain or shine. Constructed using high quality external panels, they succeed in creating a reliable structure that also looks great.
Allowing Mrs R to enjoy a great sense of light as well as warmth when using her extension, the roof achieves this by blending the worlds of solid and glazed roofing successfully. Creating an interior that looks just as natural as any other room in the house, it can be freely designed however Mrs R wishes, perfectly complimenting her beautiful plantation and flowers on the outside.
As well as being beautiful on the outside, the roof’s exterior makes for some impressive visuals. Thanks to the seamless blend of a solid and glazed roof it’s a roof that feels more part of Mrs R’s home but is beautifully lit also.
Mr R expressed:
“The room is now much more multifunctional. I’ve saved on energy bills and the noise level has been massively reduced.”
At Reddish Joinery, we were more than happy to help Mrs R make the most of her existing conservatory, providing a solution with our replacement roofs that help enhance her home stylistically and functionally.
