We’ve put together a selection of our three favourite Accoya case studies to help inspire your next project with Reddish Joinery.
When the Easter family required a new bespoke front door, they approached the team at Reddish Joinery. Their criteria were that the door must be secure, efficient, low maintenance and suit their homes existing aesthetic. With years of extensive experience, we were able to match the family with their perfect front door. An Accoya door is extremely durable, UV resistant and can last up to 50 years with very minimal maintenance making it the best option for them.
For additional security and insulation, the Easter’s required their door to be 10% thicker than a regular Accoya door. To prevent any compromise on functionality we paired the expertise of our skilled joiners with the expert design of CNC equipment, to create a bespoke door exact to their specification.
Why an Accoya entrance door is the superior choice!
At Reddish Joinery, we pride ourselves on providing a personal touch to each of our projects. This is what assured Mr and Mrs Leigh that our family-run business was right for their renovation job. They were looking to have their existing extension transformed into a bespoke timber orangery.
Mr Leigh had previously constructed their conservatory extension himself, making the project very close to him. To make the process as simple, smooth and comfortable for him we manufactured and installed the entire orangery in-house, with support from a few suppliers.
The Leigh’s bespoke orangery is much more efficient when compared with a conventional conservatory. Almost all products sourced for the orangery construction were Accoya, a high quality, thermally insulating and sustainable resource.
The orangery required powder-coating to match the existing Buttermilk painted windows of the property. This isn’t readily available, but by taking this extra step we can be assured that Mr Leigh was completely happy!
Why a timber orangery would be the perfect addition to your home!
After completing a large project down the road to an excellent standard, our customer contacted us to discuss their own project.
The customer had a well-aged existing front door that was no longer protecting the home from the elements. We decided a bespoke Accoya door with Accoya framing would be the perfect replacement to keep their home protected. Accoya is weather-resistant and retains natural insulation as well as being able to last up to 50 years without retreatment.
To complement the traditional property, they chose a traditional style door with a classic heritage Lamp Room Grey finish. We fitted the door with a Winkhaus heritage door locking system to provide them with improved security in their home.
The customer previously had an outside door that led to a secondary entrance door. The decision was made to remove the outside door, leaving the entrance door in an exposed porch. To finish the project, we designed and installed a new cover for their gas meter, located within the exposed porch. This extra touch helped bring their entranceway together to create a cohesive and bespoke look.
